About the ASC10 reading the wrong metadata, not true.  I bought the Phillips 2CD recording of all the Schubert trios, and the CDs say as much on them, but the first CD really is some a Schubert’s symphonies.  The CD just has the wrong music on it.  Never saw that before.

@Ponzi So the CD is a misprint if I understand correctly? Wild! I've been working with a LOT of CDs for a LOT of years and I don't ever remember seeing that.

I know.  Wonder how it could even happen.  I imagine these CDs are spit out by the hundreds.  How could one go wrong, or are there more out there?

Check eBay, there are often cool misprints available.

router is not in the same room and connection is with wall Ethernet that has same IP with other Apple devices in this room.

 

 

problem solved, it was an issue with locked network from my IT specialist for security reasons.

all working great now.

btw what a great sound N20 makes!

much better than my ACS10 and N10.

UPDATE:

The WiFi Extender delivered via 1-day Amazon

Set-up was no problem 

Conductor initially did not recognize Aurender - kept asking for IP address

Left for a while

Drank 1/2 the booze

Came back and Conductor offered the N100 as a selection

Selected N100

Drank the remaining 1/2 booze

All's well tonight

I cannot get streamer service through Tidal.  When I sign in, it keeps telling me “client not found.” I downloaded the latest Tidal app.  but still.  When I go to the “stream to Aurender” page on the conductor app, I see it is enabled, but still says “not connected.” Any ideas?

Has anyone had the opportunity to listen and compare an N20 (or similar) to the Grimm MU1?  I am moving in the streamer direction and have heard great things about the Grimm and, naturally, the Aurender series.  Currently using a ROON Rock built to Chris's direction with an added SBooster PS, etc....and comment would be welcome.

@PonziYou need to update the Aurender Conductor app and the Aurender system software. Nothing to do with the Tidal app.

New question (or software request). Is there a way to schedule the music to stop playing after xxxx minutes? If so, how do you engage it? If not, it would be a nice feature. Usually I listen to music prior to sleep so if it stopped playing after an hour, it won’t continue playing and playing and playing….  Thanks!

Like a sleep timer. I do this when listening to audio books at night on my phone. Very nice.

I’m having a strange issue with the newest update for Aurender and Conductor app. 
When I log into Qobuz, it gives me the option to select 16/44, 24/96, or 24/192. 
After I select 24/192, after I save it, it keeps reverting itself back to 24/96 ?? 
I have the highest level of Qobuz subscription, so that is not the issue. 
Is anyone else experiencing this? 
Is this a known bug ?

Conductor app needs updating. Had same problem but updated app solved it. Has to do with different login process for tidal now. It sends you to the web login for tidal.

Under tidal, playlists, mixes for you,

I can see the playlists but when I click on them they are empty

Looking at abandoning my old mac mini/Audirvana streamer setup and getting a Aurender streamer to integrate via USB to my Chord Cutest DAC.

 

What model should I be looking at and second can the Aurender play directly from my NAS or must the music reside on the Aurender streamer itself?

I myself feel the N20 is the best value for the money . But then again I dont know your budget.

Al210 , I have N10 which is very neat and still looks like new , bought the N30SA , so want to sell it at a bargain. Let me know if interested.

Buying a used N10 and wondering what will be the best hookup for my Chord Cutest DAC.

 

If I read correctly the N10 temp controlled clock does not function on its USB output. The cutest DAC has BNC input but only up to 384Kbits where the USB on the Cutest supports 768Kbits and up to 512 DSD. I have a bunch of 128 DSD albums.

A friend of mine had a Qutest and now have a Dave, with the two of them the USB was under the Spdif on BNC

He tells BNC is good with Chord dac :)

Your sound system is a synergy. 

Try all possible options and use what you think sounds best.
