MediaTomb for Linux Mint 17.1

I have just got my Marantz SR6008 playing my library via MediaTomb from my Linux Mint 17.1 HTPC.

 

Glad I just discovered this MediaTomb ... I have not been able to get the Marantz playing via neither of the two media servers I was using before when my old HTPC was running on Windows :

 

- Asset UPnP

- Logitech Media Server

 

Has anyone of you got experience with this MediaTomb, especially as far as it's format streaming capabilities are concerned ?

Is there any quality loss within the decoding process of format that the player eventually does not support ?

 

I am playing both 16/44.1 and 24/96 either FLAC or WAV formats.

Not with mediatomb. I run Linux Mint too and use Serviio to stream to my Pioneer N50 controlled with Bubble UPNP on my nexus 7 tablet.
