My question would be, do I need one between my NAS and switch, then my switch and wall outlet, then the cable to travel downstairs to the media room... then from the wall jack to the audio pc. So if I add this up, I'd need 6 (4 server, 1 switch to wall, and wall to audio pc), plus I'd need something to be capable of a ~50' run downstairs so how many pairs of them would I need? So I'm thinking this is a $100k solution for me. Money is no object!! LMAO.

I wonder if bankers would accept $10,000 Ethernet cables as collateral...

No, but $10,000 interconnects, which have been around for a lot longer, might satisfy them. :)

How many of you who are making fun of this have auditioned these cables, broken them in, and opened up your hearts to having new veils lifted and your soundstage opened up?

I have several of these, and they really punch beyond their price-point.

Maybe we could have a group buy.

Of course it's just a pr stunt to get their name publicised and people might buy their cheaper cables.

Maybe. Makes me want to cry that people buy into this crap. It's amazing to me..

I have to disagree with the premise of this article. You will be wasting your money if you use this cable with music in mp3 format. You will only get the full value of this cable if you rip your CDs to an compressed lossless format like AIFF or WAV. Also your CDs needed to ripped while the moon is full.

In theory this may be true, but I have compared both in my system and find that CDs ripped while the moon is full and at the highest point in the night sky sound best to me. Clear nights are also better than cloudy ones as the cloud cover results in a slightly veiled sound.

The way I see it, anyone who is smart enough to have accquired enough wealth to afford something like this is not likely to be stupid enough to find it credible.

I'll totally disagree with that statement.

Yes, but hobbies are hobbies. I see folks buying vintage automobiles which are nothing but rust buckets for restoration. If you enjoy a hobby and can afford to play - go for it.

yeah, i dig what you mean, but wifi is a much better solution, too bad it's so cheap though I spent the most with a Time Capsule
