Vangelis Posted October 30, 2014 Share Posted October 30, 2014 As far as I'm aware, unless you're running a file system that performs checksums like ZFS, then running some kind of Raid mirror isn't going to help against bitrot. But am happy to be corrected... Ok, clearly I'm not a techy, what the heck is bitrot, corrupted files or degraded HD? What are the symptoms?
