Mike Pinkerton
Where is the best place to report issues with A+ 2.0, especially the new library mode? There are many usability problems (eg, only exposing key playlist functionality in right-click menus; a big no-no) as well as significant issues (eg, not ignoring particles in sorting, and not importing a lot of album art from iTunes). I'm happy to help Damien make this software better, but I don't want to add things to threads that are already 10 pages long. Where does he look for these reports? -mike Link to comment

I did have the same problem.. look like that sometime in the past iTunes keep the art in a separate folder.. and perhaps in later versions iTunes started to embed the art.. (not sure abut this).. anyway I use an applescript that re-embed the cover art for each file.. after that you can import, move, copy etc and the file will have the cover art.. A few day ago I spend time running the script in my complete music collection.. now not more mising art cover in A2.. look here Doug's AppleScripts for iTunes ♫ Re-Embed Artwork v1.2 Just for music:Mac Mini 2.3 GHz Intel Core i5 60GB SSD, 16GB RAM (Mid 2011) OS X El Capitan 10.11.3 > WD NAS 6TB > Audirvana+>Roon Server > HQPlayer >iPad for Roon Remote> Teac UD-503 DAC > Audio Quest Cinnamon USB cable > Cambridge Audio Azur 840C > Cambridge Audio Azur 840A > Polk LSi 15 > DIY Speaker Cables. Mike Pinkerton
Much appreciated for the script, but this is just one example of a class of problems where things work great in iTunes and doesn't work well at all in the library manager without a lot of work on my end. Basically, the whole manager doesn't "just work" like I expect good software to. I'd like to report these to Damien in the most effective manner. Link to comment
Mike Pinkerton
From Doug's page: NOTE: this script cannot handle processing more than about an album's worth of tracks per launch due to the way iTunes manages the graphics data. Oh come on! This is why I'm paying $ for library software to work correctly. The scripts I have to run to make it so don't even work right. Link to comment

I have to say that after i installed A2 i was a little disappointed.. But I have been working with A2 for the las few days for hours..and I have master what at the present time A2 offer.. I do like A2 very much.. I also discovered that iTunes hide a lot of issues.. like the cover art for example.. we see it in Itunes but if we move that file.. you know what happen if it was not embedded. I'm spending a lot of time in iTunes editing the metadata.. when I have everything good I copy or move that folder to another folder that i'm syncronising with A2.. hopefully I'm been clear.. Please if you care to share some of your issues I will do my best to help.. or just send a pm to Damien.. Mike, I read that about the script....I have been using that script with out any issue.. just this morning I run the script in my 58 Rolling Stone albums.. then I imported to A2 no cover art missing.
