wwaldmanfan
RIP Glenn Cornick, the original bass guitarist for the seminal British rock group, Jethro Tull, passed away at 67 from heart failure at his home in Hawaii. Glenn and drummer Clive Bunker formed the powerful rhythm section for the group's classic first three albums, "This Was" (1967), "Stand Up" (1968), and "Benefit" (1969). I had the pleasure of seeing Cornick perform at the Fillmore East in NYC on their 2nd American tour supporting the release of "Stand Up". He was a great musician, and will be missed. Link to comment
jerry_rig
Sad to hear. He added so much to the Jethro Tull sound. And his work on Bouree is a classic. Hard to fathom why Ian let him go. Link to comment
