Speedskater Posted September 3, 2014 Share Posted September 3, 2014 It's not the Watts but the Watt-Hours that's important. A modern hi-fi receiver's average power usage is low compared to it's maximum power usage. Some of the units on the above list use lots of power but just briefly while others use less power but almost 24 x 7. Link to comment
