fredhammersmith2
I am curious about the recent Joshua Redman I've heard one track: his cover of The Ocean (yes, the Led Zep one!), and it was really good But it is a Nonesuch hires, and Nonesuch, lately, has not met my expectations, sound-wise (last Metheny, the Mehliana thing). Not for the hires premium anyway. Link to comment
CatManDo
I can reassure you, it sounds very good. Dynamics are intact too (DR12) I agree about the latest Metheny albums (which sound like pop productions), but I'm not sure this is related to the label. Claude Link to comment

rwwjr44
This one sounds pretty good. Redman is to the left, the bass is somewhat center right and the drums to the right. I had to move my speakers and are still in the minor adjustment phase so this may not be totally acurate. The drums sound very good. Redman's sax may be a tad flat sounding or without air but still very good. Note: this is not early Redman but a more mature and accomplished player.
