Who Do You Love and Mona are great, but not so sure about the rest... Part of my youth, wish I wasn't quite as reluctant to spend the money on essentially two songs.

But consider that Who(what/when, etc.) Do You Love and Mona are, like, 70% of the album.

What/When/How are extended riffs (lots of 60s psychedelic guitar) on Who. I liked that stuff better as a teenager. :)

I've got both of those original Quicksilver Messenger Service (1968) LP and the Happy Trails LP released Mar 1969 Capital sounds so much better the the download from HD tracks. The HD tracks version just sounds so tinny. Like Jud, it sure sounded better when I was a kid playing in a rock band in Gainesville Fla

I opted for the 24/96 download from HD Tracks of Boogie With Canned Heat. I've been looking for a used CD version locally without luck. My DAC doesn't support DSD nor 192 over USB and with the 15% off code I was more comfortable with $15 than $25 for the DSD.

I broke a little rule of mine these days about only buying new releases as high res downloads.

I've got the Quicksilver compilation " Son's of Mercury" that has about everything the regular fan would want. The DR is form 10-14. I also have a rip of Pure Pleasure Music's " Quicksilver Messenger Service" that is DR 12-13. I wonder how the download sounds compared to these? What a great band. Overlooked by many...........

I forgot one. A mini-LP from Japan of Quicksilver's first album that is the worst compressed disc I own. Beyond bad.
