Yes, I know what you mean, something like "cursor follows playback" & "playback follows cursor" functions. In current state of DS app, this problem occurs in long playlists. The playing track is eventually located on the tail of playlist, forcing the user to scroll the list and reveal the highlighted item.

A good example of initial wireless setup is offered by Daphile. This solution creates a hot spot with default password and SSID.

On my system, Minimserver should not be blamed. I have perfect behavior with BubbleUPnP and Lumin controllers.

I just noticed LDS folder view displays artwork correctly. Issue seems to affect Library view only.

I think Lightning DS misses the point for correct display of Various Artists compilations. With fully tagged albums, Lumin behaves a lot better, please check the following images and make your own judgment:

With BubbleUPnP available, and considering the early stage of Auralic Android App, I gave up after 5 minutes. BubbleUPnP simply works.

Let's see how LDS next version deals with Various Artists compilations. The current version is simplistic and doesn't displays any information about the actual artists for each track on playlist.

New LDS version is now available. Caution is recommend for this update, since compatibility with third-party OpenHome renderers is now broken (my case, actually)...

Audio industry is fast moving to a scenario where software development best practices should be seriously taken into account. Most of the issues we are discussing here could be avoided with a tight release control and close attention to end users expectations.

Your ISP should be of any relevance if you are listening to Tidal or any other streaming service outside your gates. Otherwise, your control point, renderer and server are part of the same local network.

UPnP/DLNA interoperability guidelines plus OpenHome concept is just a great combination and works nicely on many systems (when correctly implemented). I don't have any Auralic device, so, I can only elaborate about my readings on threads like this. My conclusion is Auralic should seriously review their development and QA pipeline with the addition of tight testing procedures. They should also provide options to a stable path (for the conservative user) and a branch for those fresh and risk versions (for the adventurous or advanced user).
