Audio_ELF
Okay ... so this has nothing to do with Computer Audio but there is a movement in the UK to turn off FM transmitters and give us DAB radio instead at much lower quality. As many people will know the BBC in the UK via it's Radio 3 service broadcast a large number of high quality concerts and the quality of these via DAB, DVB and Internet services are lower. Even if you don't listen to HQ services in the home, there is also the issue of the 1,000s of FM radios in cars and small portable devices... Anyway there is a petition online to try to get the government to reconsider. So if you're a UK Citizen and want to try to prevent this ... goto http://petitions.number10.gov.uk/AM-FM-Radio/ Thanks Eloise P.S. Chris ... hope you don't mind me posting this here as it isn't CA related. Eloise --- ...in my opinion / experience... While I agree "Everything may matter" working out what actually affects the sound is a trickier thing. And I agree "Trust your ears" but equally don't allow them to fool you - trust them with a bit of skepticism. keep your mind open... But mind your brain doesn't fall out. Link to comment
