Moosbrugger
Sorry, this issue comes up a bit, but I can't find a definitive answer. If there is one. The gap is the two seconds of silence between songs? I've assumed that I want to exclude pre-gap -- especially for classical recordings. Is this correct? Is there any reason not to? Leave the pregap on, it will result in perfect tracks for gapless playback, just as they were intended to be on the CD when mastered. You might want to remove the pregap on ghost tracks, when the pregap is often very large with the sole purpose of "hiding" the track. Link to comment

Moosbrugger
While I'm at it -- what determines the speed XLD reads the discs? Sometimes it's a speedy 8x or 9x. Sometimes just 3x. Is it a disc issue? A busy computer? A Hudson Valley Home: Kichels -- A Recipe from the Old Country Link to comment
