Miska
I know you have recently made this a UPnP renderer but what the heck is your "Embedded" HQ player? Embedded software - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia It is primarily for OEM version to be used in hardware products. How else does it differ from normal HQPlayer? There's no graphical user interface at all. It is completely headless. And just exports an IPC API. Usually the user interface is provided by a UPnP Control Point. What does it run on? Linux, on x86 or ARM architecture. Can you buy it? Not at the moment, maybe in future as part of a hardware product. Although I may offer it as-is for those who are familiar with setting up a headless/embedded Linux system. I don't have resources for providing installation technical support for it. How does one install it? At the moment it's a .deb package for Debian Jessie or Ubuntu LTS. Can be installed using the standard dpkg package management tool. Miska
Hi Miska, this means that you are in the process pf overcoming the EU difficulties to market hardware, that you once commented here? Yes, in a way that I still don't consider selling any hardware myself, but instead license software to hardware companies...
