4est
I have a Twisted Pear Buffalo III DAC that I have been waiting to build. My intent for this would be as a four channel DAC most likely used as a L+R, hi and low pass. The Exa U21 is now discontinued, and I am seeking options and opinions please. Alternately, if someone has a U21 they are looking to part with, PM me. I am considering this DIYINHK device as it may be possible to modify it to work: Isolated XMOS 384kHz high-quality USB to I2S PCB with ultralow noise 6.5uV regulator - DIYINHK 24 | January | 2014 | H i F i D U I N O Forrest: Win10 i9 9900KS/GTX1060 HQPlayer4>Win10 NAA DSD>Pavel's DSC2.6>Bent Audio TAP> Parasound JC1>"Naked" Quad ESL63/Tannoy PS350B subs<100Hz Link to comment

This solution bypasses USB all together. You can use it with twin two channel LVDS or 3.3V TTL receivers.
