anyone knows where to look for coupons for hqplayer? am interested in getting 1 license for mac/linux

i tried playing flac using roon(no upsampling nor other effects) -> hqplayer on the same laptop connected to my dac via usb.

and playing flac using hqplayer standalone with exactly the same settings and it sounds better.

 

Any idea why?

i'm using roon with hqplayer with bit perfect output... comparing 3 and 4, is there any benefit for me to upgrade? taking into account i'm doing bit perfect output, means no filter or upsampling done.

@Miska : how about my issue with login /password in embedded ? can't authenticate with hqplayer/password and when I painfully typed hqplayerd -s password with my old eyes and azerty keyboard I got a address already in use message...

 

Anyway I'm stuck with the MBP limitation at 2 usb ports. I took 2 SD cards, one wouldn't write as soon as the flash image stage and the other flashed OK but then it loops forever at booting

 

is there a command line to look for my wifi network and connect to it ? (would free a usb port + I would get rid of the ethernet cable 

 

What kind of improvement u have on 4 on macos?

I second it... Purchased the license straight away.. Can never go back to version 3 again..
