Eloise --- ...in my opinion / experience... While I agree "Everything may matter" working out what actually affects the sound is a trickier thing. And I agree "Trust your ears" but equally don't allow them to fool you - trust them with a bit of skepticism. keep your mind open... But mind your brain doesn't fall out. Link to comment
freesteve
New ASIO drivers for what? looking for new generic ASIO drivers I.E. ASIO4All, etc. HQ Player (#1) & Audrivana (#2) (wow! love the Apple w/music!!) .. these two software make my system "Amazing!", Purist USB- Benchmark DAC2 HGC (love it!), Purist Audio XLR , ATC SCM25A's (To Die For!) & Focal sub6 . jmacdonough
If you have an ASIO compatible sound card, the drivers that came with it should have ASIO drivers as well. ASIO4ALL is a driver that accepts ASIO output and converts it to Kernel Streaming. This would be used if your sound card doesn't natively support true ASIO. Link to comment
