Case recommendation

Is the HDPlex H5 and Streacom FC5 still the go to case or are there much more cheaper or better choices today?

HDP are changing the design of the H5.S so the FC5WS will be the case I use for Zuma type builds. I don't see how anyone could make them much cheaper and still retain some of the quality that makes them not look out of place in a hi-fi rack.

Does anybody know what case is used in the Carbon build at Small Green Computer? It looks like a Streacom design but I haven't been able to find it.

It appears to be an FC8 / FC8EVO but without an Optical Drive slot. This configuration isn't shown on Streacom.com though.

1+ for Streacom FC5. Very sturdy, well made, and space for extras.

 

I got mine from Steve at QuietPC USA. They were great to work with.
