esldude
Speakers make the most difference by far. Room treatment or positioning would be next. Does you sound lack the presence and mid-band resolution to satisfy? And always keep in mind: Cognitive biases, like seeing optical illusions are a sign of a normally functioning brain. We all have them, it’s nothing to be ashamed about, but it is something that affects our objective evaluation of reality. Link to comment
mayhem13
No mention of room treatments so....if that is in fact the case, i'd invest in a moderate measurement rig and take a look at some measures,......response, spectral decay, polar response, etc. After identifying with some of the measurements with what you ears are actually telling you, identify and apply acoustic treatments as needed ........and then get some shakra stones and myrtle blocks......LOL!
