HiFiInsider
I'm starting to obsess over small USB-powered DACs with RCA outputs like the Wyred4Sound uDAC-HD and Meridian Direct DAC. I love the small form factor and the lack of a power supply. Can you guys name others that are currently available? Looks like HRT and Resonnesence Concero HD makes one as well, but I'm not sure if it's better than the Meridian. http://www.youtube.com/hifiguy528/videos Link to comment
Audio_ELF
Arcam rPAC What about things like iDSD and Wavelength Proton which use USB power to charge a battery? Eloise Eloise --- ...in my opinion / experience... While I agree "Everything may matter" working out what actually affects the sound is a trickier thing. And I agree "Trust your ears" but equally don't allow them to fool you - trust them with a bit of skepticism. keep your mind open... But mind your brain doesn't fall out. Link to comment

john57
The new NUFORCE udac3 is only 125$ with DSD capability I noticed that however the DAC chip used does not support DSD according to the manual and it states. uDAC-3 utilize the PC for DSD to PCM conversion for limited DSD support.
