Sirius & XM Merger Approved

Anyone a fan of Sirius or XM Radio? I can't live without it in the car. The US Justice Department just approved the merger between the two. I have a feeling this will lead to less choice and higher prices since they have no real competition.

We let ours lapse, at least for now, since they won't let us do the lifetime rate on a factory installed radio while including the 3 moves to other radios. (I think it was 3). Seems we can't get a decent install of one of their radios in our car due to some antenna issues. I don't really want their radio, but a non-factory radio seems required to get the transfers.

 

My wife loves it for sure. I think the rates are going to struggle to increase since there is just so much available on the internet or bundled into cable. I'm suprised they haven't actually declined.
