Hi Mark - Thought I had sent this to you, but not sure. Is MyTek now saying that it isn't supported? Check page 68 in the PDF linked below.

JRiver Media Center Installation

Mytek recommends the use of Firewire, as it is a true streaming format. If you do not have

Firewire please continue to USB2.0 Setup.

Official email reply from Mytek on this topic, Nov. 11, 2013:

While we are working at DSD128 via FW, DoP on PC to work, it isn't supported yet.

To sum up supported is:

DSD128 via USB 2.0 (ASIO) on PC.

DSD128 via USB 2.0, DoP on PC.

DSD128 via FW, DoP on Mac.

So the opposite is true. It is supported on a MAC, isn't supported via FW on a PC, only via USB on PC.

Main listening (small home office):

Main setup: Surge protector +>Isol-8 Mini sub Axis Power Strip/Isolation>QuietPC Low Noise Server>Roon (Audiolense DRC)>Stack Audio Link II>Kii Control>Kii Three (on their own electric circuit) >GIK Room Treatments.

Secondary Path: Server with Audiolense RC>RPi4 or analog>Cayin iDAC6 MKII (tube mode) (XLR)>Kii Three .

Bedroom: SBTouch to Cambridge Soundworks Desktop Setup.
Living Room/Kitchen: Ropieee (RPi3b+ with touchscreen) + Schiit Modi3E to a pair of Morel Hogtalare.

All absolute statements about audio are false :)
