firedog
Official email reply from Mytek on this topic, Nov. 11, 2013: While we are working at DSD128 via FW, DoP on PC to work, it isn't supported yet. To sum up supported is: DSD128 via USB 2.0 (ASIO) on PC. DSD128 via USB 2.0, DoP on PC. DSD128 via FW, DoP on Mac. So the opposite is true. It is supported on a MAC, isn't supported via FW on a PC, only via USB on PC. Main listening (small home office): Main setup: Surge protector +>Isol-8 Mini sub Axis Power Strip/Isolation>QuietPC Low Noise Server>Roon (Audiolense DRC)>Stack Audio Link II>Kii Control>Kii Three (on their own electric circuit) >GIK Room Treatments. Secondary Path: Server with Audiolense RC>RPi4 or analog>Cayin iDAC6 MKII (tube mode) (XLR)>Kii Three . Bedroom: SBTouch to Cambridge Soundworks Desktop Setup. HIFI
Micael (spelling?) at Mytek confirmed that 2XDSD available with USB but NOT FireWire. This is specific to Mac. Did not ask him about PC. My System : TWO SPEAKERS AND A CHAIR Link to comment
