While I agree "Everything may matter" working out what actually affects the sound is a trickier thing. Paul R
Whoo hoo! I gotta get me a set of these babies! Read the entire article at Natural Mystic Flowing Through Chord | Hifi Pig The guys at Chord got in contact with us to tell us about some very exciting developments with regards to cable technology. The Chord Mystic Signature (shown in 1/4″ plug form) is a new interconnect cable designed to allow anyone, anywhere in the world to channel the same immense creative energy waves, that previously only those that live or work within the energy matrix of Stonehenge, have been able to benefit from. The precisely placed (and very beautiful) crystal formation at each end of the cable collects and focuses primordial energy waves. By placing your hands carefully on any equipment blessed enough to be connected with Mystic Signature, you can channel this energy directly to a new chakra, recently discovered by Chord’s psychic research team. The fundamental chakra is located approximately 10 cm below the coccyx and is the chakra responsible for many of the strange and mysterious utterances that musicians make. Think about it for a minute: it’s no coincidence that Sting has a house in the Woodford valley (well within the energy matrix of Stonehenge). Get over it. Your countrymen voted him in, and your countrymen will have the same opportunity to vote him out again. How a Digital Audio file sounds, or a Digital Video file looks, is governed to a large extent by the Power Supply area. If that is the case your making $800,000 a year. 40 million people in the USA don't have health care. Why not give it to them? Is that gonna decrease your bottom line? Fred Link to comment
Audio_ELF
Shame Emotiva don't know the difference between kbps and kHz. Or perhaps they do! I couldn't live a week on that. That is chump change. Also why would I give "them" money for health insurance, when like you I can buy stereo equipment. Link to comment

Oh yes there is - insane, ferocious, frothing at the mouth political demagoguery. That can be enough to turn any American's stomach, even if does seem to becoming the favorite national pastime. Such a pervasive disease, it even invades audiophile fora. Anyone who considers protocol unimportant has never dealt with a cat DAC. Robert A. Heinlein Link to comment

It has indeed become a "favorite national pastime". Maybe if they put a time clock between pitches in baseball America can once again see baseball restored as its "favorite national pastime". HeadRoom HamPhones | HeadRoom Audio When someone pointed me to the following: I thought it was an April Fools joke. But hey, if the Peter Breuninger who has garnered much praise in his reviews not just endorses but claims these little metal dots with Blu Tack stuck to your walls and speakers is the best room treatment he has ever heard who I am to argue. I mean at 300 bucks for five of these tiny little buggers and they recommend 25 to get the "full effect" it sounds like a "sound" investment to one's audio system. Link to comment
