HiDef Tape Transfers has the Jochum Carmina available for download in various formats, sourced from a 4-track DGG tape. I know the recording, and it was a classic in its day. anyone heard the download?

This is my favorite recording of Carmina, so I had to jump on this. Bought the 192/24 PCM. Listening to it now. Haven't compared it to my 44.1/16 file (ripped from CD), but the hi-res sounds great.

thanks for the input- i finally went ahead and bought it, 24/96 (my system won't do 192). sounds quite good, if a bit raucous, which is how most of the HDTT stuff sounds to my ears. not inappropriate for the music however, so i'm enjoying it.
