Pagliacci Arias - Vesti la Giubba

Does anyone have any suggestions for downloadable well-recorded arias from Pagliacci, specifically Vesti la Giubba -- high-res, or 16/44.1. Pavarotti or other?

 

If not, and DVD-A or SACD recommendations??

This classic performance, starring a young Placido Domingo is the one to beat. It also has Cavalleria Rusticana (Mascagni). The two operas are often performed together, back to back because they are both quite short and they are both "one hit wonders" for their composers, each featuring a famous excerpt (Vesti La Giubba in the case of Pagliacci and the intermezzo in the case of Cavalleria Rusticana). This DVD is of a live performance at the Met in 1978, directed by Franco Zefirelli. It has been re-engineered and the sound quality is quite good. Personally, I always prefer visuals with an opera and in this case they are certainly worthwhile.
