newbie, Dragonfly DAC isnt changing colors as file quality bit/sample rate changes

Hi all, I'm new to all this and was wondering why the Dragonfly's light doesn't change colors when I go from CD quality to high res etc as it states that it should? Does the player I use have anything to do with it? I usually use MediaMonkey but also tried Foobar and nothing changed. I have a Windows 7 pc, thanks

Foobar - did you use DirectSound? DS will change the bitrate to whatever you have set in Windows.

Use WASAPI or ASIO components - they need to be downloaded separately.
