freesteve
I found that "raising the buffers" on JPlay really makes a strong detailed playback difference. Your experience is appreciated. Thank you. HQ Player (#1) & Audrivana (#2) (wow! love the Apple w/music!!) .. these two software make my system "Amazing!", Purist USB- Benchmark DAC2 HGC (love it!), Purist Audio XLR , ATC SCM25A's (To Die For!) & Focal sub6 . Daren F
I don't notice any difference with buffer settings in my system. I have the buffers set at DirectLink which is recommended unless you experience no sound or dropouts. In another thread you mentioned that vocals sound harsh on your system. Have you tried using the River engine? I find that it's a warmer sound and may reduce some harshness you are experiencing. Link to comment
