Musicophile
Hey, I discovered recently this recordings and I am really enjoying it! mkrzych
(null) Let us know of you like it. BTW, du Pre is rather old recording remastered. -- Krzysztof Maj http://mkrzych.wordpress.com/ "Music is the highest form of art. It is also the most noble. Moosbrugger
Well, I for one thank you for asking questions like this and hope you'll continue as the spirit moves you. It's my not so subtle attempt to categorize all the great advice that appears somewhat haphazardly in "of the evening," "to die for," and other threads. It makes it much easier for me to get advice and then find it again. I downloaded and listened to the de Pre version of the Elgar Cello Concerto. It's great. Cheers. burnspbesq
A recent recording, possibly not to everyone's taste, that I am enjoying a lot is the Christian Poltera/Vienna Radio Symphony recording of works by Dutilleux and Lutoslawski. It's available as a 96/24 FLAC download from eClassical. Office: MacBook Pro - Audirvana Plus - Resonessence Concero - Cavailli Liquid Carbon - Sennheiser HD 800.
