It can analyze your tracks to determine the DR, Volume and several other properties, then add that information to the file tags. Then that data can be displayed as you wish in its customizable user interface. Once I discovered the importance of DR (and Volume Leveling, but that's another story), I modified my display at the top of JRiver to include DR.
