HIFI Posted January 12, 2014 Share Posted January 12, 2014 My two year old Mac Mini turned off at some undetermined time and it will not start up. The apple shows on monitor, the progress bar does nothing, shut down in 15 seconds. Any recommendations I could do for myself before I go purchase a replacement? Thanks in advance. wgscott Posted January 12, 2014 Share Posted January 12, 2014 Boot it into single user mode (hold down the command and s keys when you reboot) and try to repair the filesystem with fsck, or boot into the recovery partition by holding down the option key when you reboot. Link to comment
