Jud
From something Alex (sandyk) mentioned in a comment - If anyone is interested in getting together with other forum members for listening sessions to compare recordings or equipment; to share ideas; or just socially, perhaps we can post here. For my part, anyone in the general area of eastern Pennsylvania (New York City is less than 2 hrs by car; Philly about 1 1/2) is welcome. blaven
Awesome idea. I am in Milwaukee and super interested if anyone is in Chicagoland/Milwaukee/Madison areas. NY and Pennsylvania might be a bit far for a listening session, unfortunately. Jsmith
I would like this especially for headphone users. I believe Head-FI or other sites may have something simlair but CA seems more like my home, and I would not mind going beyond head phones. I am in the DFW area. Superdad
Well if anyone here ever takes a vacation which includes a trip to Yosemite National Park, my little town of Mariposa is right on the way and I'd be happy to host you with a BBQ and some mighty fine tunes. We still have two fun teenage boys (16 & 13), so they can entertain your kids while us big boys hide in the studio! UpTone Audio LLC Link to comment

The Computer Audiophile
This is a great idea. I've said this before, I follow many things Head-Fi does and try to emulate the successes here on CA. Head-Fi meets are a great success. It would be great to see CA meets. I'll attend wherever they are. Maybe we should have a poll to figure out where the most people are that are interested in such an event. Founder of Audiophile Style | My Audio Systems Link to comment

And here it is, nearly winter. I for one will be looking for any reason to get out of the house for an evening, to meet, or greet. If anyone is interested in starting small, I would buy a round for some of the Minneapolis Saint Paul folks if they wanted to join me at a local tap room. Northgate? Maybe? That I ask questions?
