as a long time MOG user/listener anyone have comments on this new?? addition to streaming music from dr dre's company??

what does anyone think is going to happen to MOG and ones subscription

all i am care about is sound reproduction ie 320kbps(or better someday)

the quips i have read seem to indicate they have no interest in sound quality(or improving it) even the article in this weekends WSJ doesnt even mention MOG only talks about this beatsmusic and alogrithms and how the playlists and whatever are setup on spotify pandora etc-NOTHING is really said about sound quality

i sent a sort of inappropiate tweet about who gives f*** about anything but sound quality and an email to to their press people havent heard anything

BUT i did reserve my user name (just in case...) bobbmd

At the moment my MOG app seems to be working normally. I don't know if or when that will change though. I don't think anyone knows anything really.

Now we know (sniff):

Thanks sincerely for your loyalty to MOG. It means everything to us that you stuck with us while we created the next generation of streaming music services, Beats Music, using the great foundation of the MOG team and product. As you may know, Beats purchased MOG more than a year ago because we too were in love with its fidelity, simplicity, and mobile capabilities. Our goal was to go a step beyond where MOG or any other service had gone <blah blah quack quack>....

Will MOG shut down?

Yes. After April 15th, MOG will no longer be available in the US. Monthly billing will stop on March 15th and yearly subscriptions will be refunded on a prorated basis. Between now and then we will offer tools to help make your transition easier. Stay tuned for more information on those tools...."
