HiFiInsider
Tried HDTracks.com last night and downloaded the 24/96 sampler (FLAC) & 16/44 sampler (AIFF) to compare the two. Loaded both into iTunes. All the artwork for AIFF files are fine, but no for the FLAC files. iTunes tells me "artwork cannot be modified". Anyway to work around this? Thanks! http://www.youtube.com/hifiguy528/videos Link to comment
Audio_ELF
As no one has answered for you what seams (to me) to be a simple question I'll try to help ... you'll need to convert the tracks to AIFF using MAX (on MacOS) or dbPowerAmp (on PC). IIRC you'll need the latest version of MAX as earlier ones had problems converting 24bit tracks. Best of luck Eloise P.S. Other audio conversion programs may be available. Eloise --- ...in my opinion / experience... While I agree "Everything may matter" working out what actually affects the sound is a trickier thing. And I agree "Trust your ears" but equally don't allow them to fool you - trust them with a bit of skepticism. keep your mind open... But mind your brain doesn't fall out. Link to comment
