Robert Hutton
They never worked for me. If you want some, use your imagination and build your on. I have found that the ideal is to have someone, like a kid (not too tall) stand slightly behind and between the speakers and hold the speaker cables, one in each hand, during the listening session. This has the added advantage of providing some natural, organic room dampening. Ideally they should be wearing white gloves so as to not get any organic contaminants on the actual cable. Ask them not to breathe too heavily while performing this function as that can be distracting, particularly during the more delicate, quiet sections. Link to comment
Robert Hutton
Organic cotton is a must for the gloves (and all clothing honestly). Polyester fibers enhance and amplify RFI. Excellent point - thanks!! I did not know that. Also, whenever listening to music seriously, it is critical to wear rubber sole shoes only, otherwise, there may be EMI transference. Link to comment
