SACD's are still being produced and have their devotees. More generally, many are using software such as HQPlayer or Roon to upsample their music to high rate DSD (DSD256 or DSD512) as they find that it produces the best sound, especially with certain DACs for which that tends to be the "sweet spot", e.g. T+A DAC 8 DSD, Holo Audio Spring DAC.
