It will convert USB to coax S/PDIF at handles 24/96 without any drivers. The much cheaper version of this is the M-Audio Transit that does the same thing, but requires addition software and drivers. If you want a completely different DAC to handle USB at 24/96 I recommend the Wavelength Proton. DACs that handle 24/96 via USB are not that plentiful.
