I was at the Apple Store and the folks there were trying every option we've discussed. The Weiss DAC2 is a major giant killer IMO, and I may end up getting it even if with these issues, but the purity of the firewire interface (along with future Amarra, etc comaptibility) is my real goal. Opusover21 Posted April 17, 2009 Share Posted April 17, 2009 sorry to hear that..but powering the DAC2 off and then you still have to select it in the audio menu drop down....that worked for me...to be honest the DAC2 manual is very poor and the installation guide/troubleshooting section needs updating...that said its an awesome bit of kit Link to comment
