Paul,

As a fellow fan of female vocalists, I really appreciate you taking the time to put these lists together.

My pleasure. We are blessed to be living in an age where there is a plethora of great female vocalists.

Let us know what you think of Melissa Morgan.

The Melissa Morgan album has really grown on me over the last couple of days. Thanks so much for sharing it.

BTW, I'm not sure she's your "cup of tea" but I've been listening to Valerie June a lot these last couple of months.

A friend led me to this site and I found in interesting so I thought I would pass it on.

Amy Cervini - Jazz Country

This album was mentioned in this month's Stereophile. It is absolutely wonderful and should appeal to fans of Melody Gardot and Madeleine Peyroux.

It's available here:

Mila Drumke..."Hip to Hip". Just discovered her!

Thanks for recommending her. Do you know if this album is available anywhere as a download (other than iTunes)?

.

I just rediscovered Linda Ronstadt and I'm just stunned by her voice.

Plenty of her songs out there to choose from but this 70s vintage Linda is phenomenal.

If you are into vocal jazz standards (The Great American Songbook), check out the three albums she did in the '80's with Nelson Riddle (What's New, Lush Life, and For Sentimental Reasons).
