boatheelmusic Posted October 24, 2014 Share Posted October 24, 2014 OK, so I copied my hi res files into Itunes, where they play and the info shows the appropriate sampling rate. Then, synced with an Apple TV 1st gen, where they still show the high rate in info. But playing these files lights up the 44.1 led on my Grace m920, connected to the ATV 1 via toslink. Any way to have the files pass the hi res sample rate to my DAC? Thanks, Link to comment

Thanks, I'm not sure what a jailbroken ATV1 allows you to do but with the OEM software you can't play high res bitperfect through the toslink. You would have to load some linux based program that would wipe out what the ATV comes with. Some options are mentioned earlier in this thread. Link to comment
