I read the Bill Evans quote in my signature recently and am struck by his humility. The man is a legend and his genius is indeed legendary. I only wish I had the opportunity to see him live.

 

I was one of the lucky ones. I was there in 1961 at the Village Vanguard when they recoded this series. It was one of the most moving experiences of my life. Now, when I listen to these tracks again, it brings it all back. Thanks for sharing your love of Bill Evans.
