alex santos
Hi If Audirvana is set to up-sample to 48KHz will the audio stream be passed through the Apple TV 2 which outputs at 48KHz? I know this is not a bit perfect set up but I am looking for a way to avoid the Apple TV 2 from doing the up-sampling because I am confident it does an inferior job of the same. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks for your patience. Best Regards[br]Alex Link to comment
Musicophile
In my understanding, the Airplay stream is naturally limited to 16/44. I cannot find the source for this anymore. Check out my blog at musicophilesblog.com - From Keith Jarrett to Johannes Brahms Link to comment

I don't use the selection you highlighted but it is my understanding that its purpose is for use with USB bridge devices. Do you use a bridge. If not I don't think that selection has any impact. "A mind is like a parachute. It doesn't work if it is not open." Frank Zappa Link to comment
