BobH
I thought I'd share this with you all. http://www.belt.demon.co.uk/product/quantum/quantum.html The cutting edge of technology, I calls it. Link to comment
shenzi
Not this bloke again. Last time I read anything of Belt he was annointing speakers with liquids and tiny scraps of silver paper. One of the magazines analysed the special liquid and discovered it to be water. One of the few times any of the UK magazines did anything useful in the 90s. Usually the phrase "quantum" being thrown about in a random manner is a sure sign the twaddle-o-meter should be hitting maximum. Link to comment

AV-OCD
Roseval - damn you beat me to the Billiant Pebbles, my goto for whacko audiiophile tweaks. Here's a good one that I found recently. The LessLoss BlackBody. It's not available . .. yet. But just you wait, it will transform the sound of your equipment through the therapeutic use of light. And I'm guessing that it will cost you just under $5K. An audiophile bargain. ;-) "I was feeling desperate, already almost a year into my tinkering with various colors of disks and so forth, when I happened to shine a blue diode in frustration onto the CD during playback. "Take that!" I said, as if aiming a laser ray gun. I was shocked by the result: shining the blue diode onto the CD during playback resulted in an instantly perceivable more natural sound." http://www.lessloss.com/blackbody-c-71.html Cheers,[br] - Tim Link to comment

Audio_ELF
Another entry ... this time more controversial ... http://www.usa.denon.com/productdetails/3429.asp But come on ... it's a CAT5 cable!! And how about replacing all your plug fuses ... http://www.cablezoo.eu/369/furutech/furutech-audiophile-mains-fuses/10-amp/ Eloise --- ...in my opinion / experience... While I agree "Everything may matter" working out what actually affects the sound is a trickier thing. And I agree "Trust your ears" but equally don't allow them to fool you - trust them with a bit of skepticism. keep your mind open... But mind your brain doesn't fall out. Link to comment
