[email protected]
i ordered a duet yesterday and have been doing some reading, now uncertain if ii made the right choice. the basic question is if i run the squeezebox via very good coax digital cable into my theta casanova, will i be receiving the same quality/resolution as i would with minimac (or similar server) or transporter? the rest of my equipment is very revealing so i am pretty concerned... i realize this is a simple question for most but i think it is an important one for us beginners! jtwrace
Yes, as long as your rips are lossless and your DAC is up to the task you will be fine. Personally, I wanted a stand alone for my system that was audio only. [email protected]
is it not an issue that the transporter states it passes sample rates up to 96khz and sb only 48khz? Link to comment
