Mac Mini -- nu-b

Hi All,

 

Thinking about getting the previous gen Mac Mini to get my server started. I have no experience with a Mac. Question: This being a headless server will I be able to get the Mac to start up and then start up iTunes without going thorugh any log in passwords.

Hi Jay - This is very simple and I've done it several times. Let me know when you need the info on how to actually do it and I can create a little 30 second video to post.

You can set any Mac to log in without the use of passwords, using the preferences panel. You tell it to automatically log in to the primary user (for music use I would imagine it would be the only user).
