masterlazy
I consider between Transporter and Lynx 16 for computer digital out. All of them support digital out 24/96, but I don't know what is better? I am using Tact 2150 amplication so I don't need DAC. Pls tell me what is better? tks a lot. Masterlazy Link to comment
audiozorro
I believe the Transporter is limited to 24/96 and the Lynx AES16 is 24/192K. The DAC in the Transporter is excellent but many of the DACs mentioned at CA in the $1K and up price range are often considered better. Since you say you don't need a DAC you would seem to be paying for something you don't need. Link to comment
The Computer Audiophile
I think the Lynx is in another league than the Transporter. I would only use a Transporter if I needed wireless 24/96, that's it. The Lynx has up to 24/192 as Zorro said and it's a digital I/O only. No DAC that you don't need. The Lynx is much cheaper as well. Founder of Audiophile Style | My Audio Systems Link to comment
