TKYR1967
I converted some FLAC files to Apple Lossless because before reading the article on the front page, Apple Lossless was my ripping format of choice. Now I am re-ripping things to AIFF. The FLAC files that I converted to Apple Lossless were of CDs I do not own. Has the audio quality been degraded any through all this conversion? Should I just leave them as Apple Lossless or is it okay to convert to AIFF? I used Max for the conversion. Link to comment
The Computer Audiophile
Hi TKYR1967 - Nothing has been degraded as long as the conversion went without errors. If you want AIFF all you have to do is convert the Lossless to AIFF and your good without any data loss. Founder of Audiophile Style | My Audio Systems Link to comment
