Settings for PURE Music w Ayre QB9

I am running a Mac Mini using Pure Music software through a QB9. Should I be upsampling my regular and hi definition music before it reaches the QB9? Does anyone mind sharing the proper settings within PURE Music so that it performs best?

Upsampling is purely a personal preference. It is best evaluated with your own ears, and is usually dependent on how well the DAC performs at each sampling rate. Also depends on how well the upsampling software does to the original recording. Upsampling is available at the software (Pure Music), the OS (Audio Midi) or even the DAC (Ayre settings). Me, I don't upsample (on purpose...my DAC does internal machinations that eventually end up upsampling anyway)...but that's me only. I set PM for memory play and hog mode and leave it at that.

I'm with Ted here - memory play and hog mode go a long way for me, and I prefer to play songs back in native same rate.

What other settings (sonically that is, many are simply turning on/off meters, displays, remote app GUI time elapsed, etc) Be specific, we can help easier...have you read the PM user guide? Rob is pretty cook-book style (i.e step by step) in it. Also, there are several general PM threads here.
