johnnyturbo
dacs andother devices that facilitate computer connectivity are becoming increasing available at 'reasonable' prices. by way of example we have the "thingee", the devilsounds usb, decco and nova ( at the top end)and cambridge audio maic dac (dac magic?) so my question, has anyone been in a position to compare the "thingee" and the devilsounds usb. obviously, the latter has connection limitations, but both are notable for seeming to provide qualtiy conversion capacity. if anyone has, per chance, listened to the decco and cambridge audio, that, too, would be most helpful. thanks. johnnyturbo Link to comment
The Computer Audiophile
Hi Jonnyturbo - I've heard all of them except the Thingee! I can tell you the Devilsound is a very competent DAC and very unique because it's the all-in-on cable solution. I've heard good things about the Thingee, but am not able to comment on it myself.
