I have a pair of La Scala speakers that unfortunately I no longer have room for, for sale in San Jose, California.

The good: All original internals, sound great, cabinets are nice and solid.

The mods: The cabinets have been modified with tuned 40 hz tubes into the woofer chamber for better low end response.

The bad: these speakers are solid structurally and play great, but the cabinets have had a rough life. Lots of dings and marks in the veneer, and my brother's kids got after them with a crayon at one point. They aren't ugly, but definitely not mint. Also, the nameplates on the front are upside-down (The original owner had installed them hanging inverted from his ceiling).

These speakers are a great bargain for someone wanting the La Scala sound without breaking the bank. I'm motivated to get rid of them and willing to make a deal in light of the rough aesthetics. $1000, or make me an offer, pick up only please.
