Offered here is an upgraded power supply for certain Rega turntables, which I purchased new about five years ago. It is in perfect working condition and was in use in my system as recently as yesterday, as you can see from the photos. It allows you to change platter speeds without removing the platter and changing the belt; the red Rega image indicates 33.3 RPM and the green 45 RPM. I replaced the stock rubber feet with Sorbothane footers. The original turntable cable and owner's manual are included. 

Included in the offer is a Swagman Labs power supply designed for the TT-PSU. It is about four years old, and was also purchased new.

Important notes:  

1. Important: The TT PSU can only be used with the RP3, P3-24, P5 and P7 turntables. It is not compatible with any other Rega or manufacturers' turntables.

2. The original Rega wall wart that powered the TT-PSU is not included.

Rega TT-PSU

The TTPSU and motor anti-vibration circuit is a combination of the long established P9 power supply along with an improved RP6 anti-vibration motor drive feeding a 24V AC synchronous motor. The TTPSU uses a remote "wall wart" transformer therefore keeping the sources of hum & noise well away from sensitive parts such as the cartridge and phono leads.

The compact TTPSU uses exactly the same high stability crystal locked low distortion sine wave generator as is used in the heart of the P9 power supply. This, along with an efficient drive amplifier fed from a stabilized DC power supply, generates a 24V AC balanced signal of less than 0.1% distortion, which is completely un-affected by any changes in the mains/line voltage and conditions. This then drives the turntables antivibration circuit, which is situated beneath the turntable.

The drive voltage for the motor is run along the power lead to the turntable motor, which also carries the 33 1/3/45-RPM DC relay control voltage used to activate the antivibration circuit.

The low-noise toroidal transformer increases the output current capability. EMI filter takes place as a result of suppressing RFI noise in the system subjected to electromagnetic interferences. It's a perfect upgrade for the Rega Turntable TT PSU, and offers significant improvement in sound quality.

The power supply is equipped with a 2-foot high quality cable made of OFC copper insulated wires. A lockable circular socket and plug is selected for guaranteed consistent performance. WrA flexible nylon mesh provides a neat and tidy finish.
