McCormack Line Drive TLC-1 Preamplifier

Steve McCormack preamp which has been one of my most treasured possessions since acquiring new from Audio Freaks, London in 2001 together with the DNA 125 power amp which I am keeping. I still have the original box and manual. My system has simplified over the years, so I no longer need the multitude of inputs this preamp provides.

This was manufactured by the McCormack Audio Corporation of Virginia, then a part of Conrad Johnson. Steve McCormack parted ways with CJ and now runs his own company -SMc Audio and still supports this product with various upgrades (SMc Audio | Audiophile Products and Upgrades by Steve McCormack).

The photos show the condition; there are a couple of scuffs on the underside casing, and the anodising is slightly worn on the input selector knob, otherwise it’s immaculate. Note the Mod Squad feet another Steve McCormack product.
